Als Tourist sieht man Delhi ja zumeist maximal zwei Tage - am Tag der Anreise und Abreise - zwischendrin fährt man tagelang durch Rajasthan. Ist auch ok, Taj Mahal und so, das ist ja Indien. Ansonsten wird bei Großstadt und Indien eigentlich Bombay (Mumbai) genannt.Dabei hat Delhi wirklich spannende Abenteuer zu bieten - Old Delhi, Humayums Tomb, der Bahá'í-Tempel oder Qutab Minar ... plus Shopping in jeder erdenklich Form: westliche Mall, Bazaar, fliegende Händler und ganz besonders Sarojini Nagar Market. Dort wird alles, was in den indischen Textilfabriken "vom LKW gefallen ist" für Minimalpreise verscheuert - offiziell wir das so genannt "At the Sarojini Nagar Market you get fashionable clothes at affordable prices. Export-surplus garments as well as rejected export clothing come to this market at throwaway prices." - also Markenware von Desigual oder Ralph Lauren oder Benetton oder oder oder ...mittlerweile sogar mit der Metro zu erreichen!
